Months back, I joined EQ's Birthday Raffle Promo hoping my Garrie could win a birthday bash from Jollibee.  I had a total of 20 entries.  I wasn't lucky enough to win but am not giving up.  Will join again next year's promo...that's for sure ;).

Although, luck was not on our side this year, but the card that EQ through its EQ Baby Club sent us is more than enough to make my heart melt.  More than anything else, it's the thought that counts!

I know it’s been quite a while since my last post; I was just too lazy and ‘busy?! (eyes rolling)’ to update my blog (another classic excuse LOL).  Anyway, I just thought I need to share this to all moms out there…

Mindful serenity: June 2

Today, June 2, we commemorate my mama’s death anniversary.  I was 19 when we lost her to a congenital heart disease complicated by hypertension and asthma.  She died at a very young age, she was just 44 then.  But, I know she never wanted to leave us…she never wanted to give up, but she was too tired to bear it anymore.  She was a gracious survivor, and I am so proud of her!
